Templates by numbers was created to help woodworkers use the power of the internet to design and make fine furniture.
It was borne of an idea to take the calculations out of template making by using the personal computers that many of us have in our homes and workplace today. The spectacular spread of the internet has made it easier to realise our vision. And we've gone further. With things like Fibonacci and Arithmetic Progressions for example we've made it easy for the woodworker to highly customise the sizes and proportion of cabinets.
Our core skills are in engineering with a passion for fine woodworking. To complement our engineering expertise we work with noted cabinet makers like Ray Davies to perfect our template ideas.
We also work with leading woodworking tool manufacturers like Festool and Trend Routing Technology. This is based on developing joint propositions which we believe will help you the woodworker.
Being internet based helps us get the propositions out quickly and then test them. Many of the ideas have developed through customer feedback. Examples include the dovetail bit angle finder, elliptical mortise and several features in the cabinet template. We are very happy to discuss ideas with you.
